Web Standards?

By web standards, it is meant the standards set by the World Wide Web Consortium - the people who invented the web itself. New Browsers, generally support these standards. Old ones, generally, don't.

What to do?

If you are able to, please strongly consider upgrading your web browser.

The following list of browsers support the current standards (HTML 4.01, XHTML 1.0 and CSS2).

• Mozilla.org - Provides the engine for several browsers: Mozilla Firebird for Windows and Linux, Camino for MacOSX, or Galeon for the Linux GNOME desktop.
• Netscape 7 is available on all platforms (and is also based on the Mozilla engine)
• Opera 7 for Windows and Linux
• Safari by Apple, for MacOSX
• Konqueror for the KDE Linux Desktop
• Microsoft Internet Explorer 6.0 and higher on Windows, and
• Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.0 and higher on Apple Mac
