THE DEVELOPMENT OF A ROBUST ON-LINE PARTIAL-DISCHARGE (PD) MONITORING TECHNIQUE HAS PROMPTED EDF ENERGY to perform routine on-line mapping tests on its underground medium-voltage (MV) cable network.
